![]() The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors awarded the Hampstead Synagogue a prestigious award for building conservation.
On 12 May 2010, at a special ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral we were given the high honour of being named runner up in the Building Conservation category. We were pipped to the post by The Monument.
Other projects in our category included the Royal College of Pathologists, the National Theatre Studio and the Whitechapel Gallery.
One of the judges said: "As one moves from the entrance lobby to the main body of the synagogue, the wonderful effect of daylight pouring through the newly-cleaned stained glass windows is a joy to behold."
