"Its Good To Talk"

Our Hampstead Synagogue Welfare Committe is actively involved in sustaining many of our members who are incapacitated, lonely, or too proud to ask for help.

Sometimes all that is needed is a telephone call. A few words to let them know they are not forgotten.

Others prefer a visit and a chat over a cup of tea with a committee member, while some like help with their shopping.

We do our best to comply with their requests.

At Purim we hold a tea party which is greatly appreciated by all who attend. Good wishes are sent for the High Holy Days.

We have a small committee, but they do great work.
