We’re organising several activities this year to mark Mitzvah Day and we need your help to make sure it’s a success.
Building on the Invest in Peace event we held earlier in the year, we’re teaming up with Emmanuel Church and with the Hindu Temple in Willesden and with the Board of Deputies to cook and collect food for two Camden homeless projects:
- C4WS that has night shelters in churches across Camden in the winter
- FEAST! that cooks a three course meal with and for residents of Conway House in Quex Road every Thursday
You, your friends and family can participate in several ways:
- Join the interfaith cooking at JW3 from 0930 – 1130
- Pick a slot and encourage shoppers to donate food and toiletries outside either little Waitrose or Tesco Express in West End Lane
- Bring your donated food, toiletries or warm accessories to Shul from 1130 – 1500
- Help sort the donations at Shul form 1130 – 1500
