About learning

Here you will find a place where the Hampstead community can expand their Jewish learning.

The public space currently hosts three lectures given by Rabbi Dr Michael Harris for the first series of Modern Orthodox Thoughts. The second series features lectures by Rabbi Harris and Rabbi Dr Naftali Brawer and a panel discussion of leading United Synagogue rabbonim.

We have also posted some recent sermons given by Rabbi Harris in our new sermons section.

How to Videos

There are some excellent videos that we have included in the Knowledge section that can be a good reminder on customs and practices at synagogue and at home.

Education Programmes

We run a variety of education programmes with usually one series every quarter run by the Rabbi.  Members of the community also volunteer to run sessions such as our recent series of talks on business ethics run by Antony Ruback and Richard Abramson.  We welcome new ideas and or people happy to share their learning.

We are piloting Bite Size Learning sheets to help extend our learning on festivals and significant events.
