John Ware is often described as a “veteran investigative journalist” He was a BBC staff reporter for 26 years and is now freelance. Irish and Islamist extremism are amongst his specialities.
Awinner of the RTS Television Journalist of the Year, he was once described by the Financial Times as “the most important journalist in British current-affairs television today” and the Evening Standard as ” Britain’s premier current affairs reporter.”
He has also reported extensivel on anti-semitism and is the author of a biography of Dr Josef Mengele. He described the choice in December’s election of Jeremy Corbyn and Boris Johnson as Britain entering “a new dark leaderless age”.
