Ambassador Daniel Taub (Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom, 2011-15 and currently Director of Strategy and Planning of the Yad Hanadiv Foundation) will be delivering the 15th Isaiah Berlin Annual Lecture

Ambassador Daniel Taub is an Israeli diplomat and international lawyer. He served as the Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom from 2011 until 2015 and is currently Director of Strategy and Planning of the Yad Hanadiv foundation.

In Israel’s Foreign Ministry he has held a wide variety of legal and diplomatic posts and was a member of Israel’s negotiation teams with Syria and the Palestinians. He has represented Israel at many international legal and diplomatic forums and conferences and writes and lectures widely on international law and negotiation theory.

Daniel Taub holds degrees from University College, Oxford; University College, London; and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He and his wife Zehava live in Jerusalem and have six children.
