Robert Max, who has been a member of Hampstead Synagogue all his life, is a well known cellist, cello teacher and conductor. He has performed throughout Europe, the USA, Russia and the Far East as soloist, as the cellist of the Barbican Piano Trio and as principal cellist of the London Chamber Orchestra.
